Hi everyone,

I have a 128GB sata SSD that I used to speed up a 500 GB. RST created a 20GB raid 0 array to do that. but my HDD failed and I want to use the SSD to run windows on it. but it doesn't let me modify the array on the SSD. I read the help options but everything it tell me to do is missing in the app itself. So, I'm stuck with a SSD with two volumes on raid 0 that i can't get rid of. I also tried reinstalling windows, diskpart, and easeus program to fix the partitions and nothing.

Please help!!!

Thanks in advance!!!

Hello Miguelcucaro,

Thank you for joining the Rapid Storage Technology Community.

To repair your SSD in order to use it as the primary drive, my recommendation is to run a low level format for it to delete any RAID structure on the SSD. Make sure to back up all your information.

Miguel,

I suggest that you use CTRL-I during boot to go into the RST BIOS interface. From there, you can delete the RAID/Cache volumes and then set the drives status to Non-RAID. You will then be able to partition and format normally within Windows.

Hope this helps,
