Intel HD Graphics outdated or updated?

Hi, so I just installed the latest version for my PC with Intel Pentium G3240 (Intel HD Graphics), and now I updated it using the Driver Update Utility (Intel Driver Update Utility 2.0), but it still shows the old version (10.18.10.3960) instead of the newer once I installed (15.33.35.64.4176 (10.18.10.4176)). I used the Device Manager to view what version I currently have, which is still 10.18.10.3960, but when I use the Driver Update Utility to view the version, it is the latest one 15.33.35.64.4176 (10.18.10.4176). So my question is: Which one is the correct one? Have I updated my driver or is it still on the current version? Thanks.

Did the installer complete the process when you tried to install it manually? Did you find any errors?

You may want to try the zip file installation method.

@joe_intel,

I do not know if the process completed... because when I clicked "Install", it just installs, then it requires reboot... then it rebooted, no errors found, except my problem (can't tell if it updated).

I'll try the ZIP file when I have freetime.... Anyways thanks

Yes it is, look for your processor model in the table under Detailed Description.

Were you able to update the driver version with either the exe installer or zip file method?

I somewhat installed it through Windows Update... and it seemed to install 10.18.10.4170...

I installed the ZIP method first, but after I installed it, the next reboot: I got BSOD, then reverted...

So I got 10.18.10.4170 update.

BTW Thanks
