HD Graphics 4600 and Auria EQ276W Monitor Resolution Issue

Hello,

I just built a new machine with the integrated HD graphics 4600. It's connected to an Auria 27" EQ276W monitor via DVI cable. Currently only a single monitor, but will have two monitors once I get the resolution issue fixed. This monitor supports 2560 x 1440 via DVI, but on this setup the top resolution I'm able to get is 1920 x 1080.

Obvious question then is how can I get the support for 2560 x 1440??

Thank you.

It could be related to the cable. We suggest a high quality straight HDMI cable.

Is the monitor model properly detected in Device Manager?

Yeah, we tried HDMI and then it worked. However, this monitor had previously worked fine with a DVI cable and an Invidia GT9500 card, so was surprised it didn't work with the HD Graphics 4600. We also allocated 512mb of RAM.
