Is the SSD 750 series compatible with Intel Mainboard DZ77GA-70K?

I know that Intel has said that this SSD only supports Z97 and X99 mainboards fully, but since it really depends on the BIOS I wanted to be sure.

It will most likely work as a data drive, when the operating system handles everything, but I would like to use one as a boot drive.

Is that possible or will it maybe get a BIOS update so that it becomes possible?

Hello oliewa92,

We would like to inform that it will not work as boot drive in the Intel® Desktop Board DZ77GA-70K. Please bear in mind that this board as well as Intel® Desktop Board DZ87KLT-75K are EOL (End Of Life) and there will be no further BIOS updates.
