I am seeing intermittent behavior where I get 6 or so rows of corrupted data on the RGB sensor. Most likely to do with some timing / border croping sensor register either getting corrupted or not set properly in the first place. On the other hand it could be the UVC driver which I have never not had problems with. Anybody else seeing this?

Is the camera being moved when you are taking the scan, or are you scanning something that is moving?
I wonder if the bands are resulting from an issue related to the camera's shutter. The D415 uses a type of shutter called a 'rolling shutter' that does not cope with processing motion as well as the D435 model, which has a 'global shutter' suited to moving capture.
