Latest setupchipset.exe hangs on windows 7 laptop using series 8 chipset

I have run the setupchipset.exe file released January 2015 multiple times on my Lenovo x240 laptop. The utility starts to run and then hangs. The process setupchipset.exe is running but never ends and the utility does not finish.

I have tried running the utility as admin and have tried extracting the inf files with the -extract flag and see the same result.

How do I fix this?

Please note that the chipset driver for your computer is provided by the Computer Manufacture only. Our software is generic and it may not work properly on your system.
