I work on WG 82583. When I install the drivers the PC detects a intel 82574 and an error code 10 appears on the device manager.

In my flash of the 82583, I have nothing.

What is the procedure to update an image on flash ?

Hi BEN87,

Thank you for the post. If you are referring to updating the bootagent on the 82574 ethernet controller (onboard NIC), the boot agent must be updated as part of a BIOS update, what you can do is to contact your system vendor for information. If you are using a discrete network adapter, you may refer to this website about updating the bootagent:http://www.intel.com/support/network/adapter/pro100/bootagent/sb/cs-008362.htm Intel® Boot Agent — How to Update Intel® Boot Agent

No, I have a board with an intel 82583 via PCIe. When I start my board, I see on the device manager an intel 82574 and not a 82583.

I have a flash memory but not programming. I haven't got the procedure to program the fash and the file to program.
