CPU: Intel Core i7-7700K
GPU: GeForce GTX 1080ti
So my new PC has been acting up recently (slowing down, CPU/GPU at max usage at random times, etc) and I am trying to update the drivers to see if it fixes it. I have done a Malwarebytes scan and I haven't downloaded or visited anything suspicious on this PC.
Back to the main question, when I am trying to update my processor, it gives out this error:
I downloaded the drivers from this https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/27266/Graphics-Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-15-60- link. The processor I have is listed on the page, and what I don't get is why the driver won't install.
I also installed the 'Intel Driver & Support Assistant' and it claims that there are no driver updates. Now, I haven't updated my processor at all ever since I built this computer back in September, and according to that link, the newest driver available was on November 7th, 2017.
And to add to that, how do I check for the current version of my drivers?
I don't know if I did anything wrong but I hope someone can help me.

KevinCat: Thank you very much for contacting the Intel® Processors communities. We will be more than glad to assist you with this matter.
In regard to your inquiry, the Intel® i7-7700K processor works with the Intel® HD Graphics 630, so the driver that you are trying to install is the correct one, version 4849, but since you are using a graphics card, all the functionality in regard to graphics will depend on it, so the graphics drivers needed are the ones provided by NVIDIA:
http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/126903/en-us http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/126903/en-us
The rest of the drives you can always download them from the web site of the manufacturer of the board.
Any further questions, please let me know.
Regards,
Alberto R
