On at least 5 occasions I would close the lid of my Lenovo expecting that it will go into sleep or hibernation mode yet when I lift the lid back up I'm greeted with nothing but a black screen that blinks grey whenever you press a key. The only way to fix the problem would be to hold power and wait for the laptop to power off and reboot. Fortunately this new driver NEW- 15.45.23.4860: Intel® Graphics Driver for Windows 7*/8.1* [6th Generation only] seems to have fixed this problem. Thank you intel for continuing to support your products over time.

Hi MYT,
Thank you for your feedback on this matter, I appreciate it. I was checking the graphics drivers release notes and indeed this problem has been fixed with the latest graphics drivers version 4860.
I am glad this driver version worked on your computer.
