Intel Dual Band Wireless 8260 causing BSOD in Win10

Hi, I have an 8260 wifi adapter. I recently updated my drivers to the latest recommended version (20.10.2.2) using the Intel Driver and Support Assistant. I experience BSOD's randomly on system boot up, maybe every 3 or so. I did not have this problem prior to the update. It hasn't caused me enough grief to roll back the driver update yet. I see this same topic in earlier posts where someone had the same issue then stated it was resolved, but did not mention how so the thread was marked as "assumed resolved". I am using Windows 10 version 1709 build 16299.125.

Here is the debug of mini dump file. It is flagging the Netwtw06.sys file as the probable cause.

Hello rlamos1,

Thanks for providing the requested log.

We noticed your laptop manufacturer hosts a different driver revision for your system. We recommend performing a clean wireless driver installation using that driver, as it could help with the BSOD.

You can http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/04/product-support/product/precision-m7510-workstation/drivers download the driver here (change the category to Network, driver version is 20.10.1.1190 ,A24). You can find detailed instructions for a clean wireless installation in the following article:

- https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000022173/network-and-i-o/wireless-networking.html Clean Installation of Wireless Drivers

Please let us know how it goes after installing the driver provided by your OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer).

Best regards,
