So about two weeks ago I reset my computer and stuff. I installed all the drivers including the bio update for my motherboard z270e. The problem there is a huge performance decline. I tried resetting settings and tried the misconfig boot option but the speed doesn't go up.
What should I do?

Contact your board vendor; they are responsible for the BIOS and configuration. We cannot help you with this here.

Hello djwoun,
Thank you for contacting Intel Support communities,
I understand that you are having performance issues with your Intel® Core i7 7700k, I apologize for any inconvenience this may be causing.
I would like to run some tests so that we can determine the cause of the problem, first off I would like you to download 2 different programs we have for testing which are the Intel® Extreme Tuning Utility and Intel® Processor Diagnostic Tool, the links to download are below:
- Intel® Processor Diagnostic Tool:
- Intel® Extreme Tuning Utility
After these 2 programs are downloaded I would like you to first run a diagnostic with the Intel® Processor Diagnostic Tool, save the results and post it here please. Then I would like you to run a stress test with Intel® Extreme Tuning Utility for at least 5 minutes, posting the results here as well so we can check what could be causing the slow down.
Hope you find this information helpful,
Regards,
David V
