Hello GiancarloPanizzo,

As Al Hill mentioned, this is a legacy adapter that was discontinued back in 2013. It is no longer applicable for support and the documentation available is limited.

This adapter did not support WiFi Direct, as it was released a few years before the feature was introduced in 2008 with our Centrino® 802.11n adapter models. It was also released before the Intel® WiDi technology for screen sharing.

It does however support peer-to-peer connections (infrastructure/ad-hoc networks).

We hope this helps.

Best regards,

Carlos A.
