After uninstall and reinstall, XTU 5.1.1.25 wont work anymore

So I uninstalled the app and removed the MSQL folders, since I didn't see an installer for that.

Now when I reinstall XTU it doesn't re-install the SQL and the app doesn't work anymore .

Ive even went back to a restore point before the install and it still doesn't install the SQL files like it did at the beginning.

Is there some sort of installer cache that the XTU installer uses that I could reset?

Thank you for any help.

Thanks for joining the Processor community.

Intel does not offer installer cache files. You may try installing an earlier version, then try to upgrade to the latest.

Thank you. Can you tell me the version of SQL thats installed with the version I installed? Maybe I can just reinstall that. Thank you.

Even though the install from XTU did not allow for an uninstall of the SQL I was able to find the uninstall string in the registry (local machine\software\Microsoft\windows\currentversion\uninstall) I searched for anything related to SQL and found the string similar to this

MsiExec.exe /I{the registry code was here} for the SQL Compact 3.5 SP2. I then opened up "run" and pasted the string and to my surprise the uninstaller opened and successfully uninstalled it

Hopefully this will help others.
