How can I verify that I have properly installed drivers for Intel 750 400G and that I am not running native Windows drivers?

Running Windows 10

Currently in device manager I see Intel, 10/25/2016, ver 1.8.0.1011

Hello stantheman,

Thank you for your question.

Based on the information you have provided us, we can confirm that you are running our latest driver and not the inbox driver provided with your OS.

If your driver was not installed properly, your would see Microsoft* as the driver provider, and something along the lines of 10.0.10240 for your driver version.

Aside from the NVMe* driver, we like to recommend using our https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26574/Intel-Solid-State-Drive-Toolbox Intel® SSD Toolbox for drive management (to check for firmware updates, run diagnostic scans, drive health monitoring, etc.).

If you have any additional issues or questions, please let us know. We're always glad to help.

Best regards,

Carlos A.

Thank you very much! You beat me to my next question with the use of the Toolbox software.

stantheman,

You're very welcome. The 750 Series is a consumer/enthusiast model, but it can actually work with both the Intel® SSD Toolbox and our Intel® SSD Data Center Tool. The main benefit of the SSD Toolbox is that it has a graphical user interface, while the Data Center tool works through Command Line Interface (CLI) and has quite the hefty user guide. The Data Center Tool does offer greater functionality, although some of it's additional capabilities are often unnecessary for most consumer applications. Here are the links, in case that you're interested:- https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26575/Intel-SSD-Data-Center-Tool?v=t Intel® SSD Data Center Tool.- http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/memory-and-storage/000020016.html User and Install Guides for Intel® SSD Data Center Tool.Best regards,Carlos A.
