Alright so given my specs. https://gyazo.com/35daae9a685670d92b3f829c1f25768a

I have terrible lag in PC games with recommended settings that are far less than my actual specs. What is going on? My 2011 Sony Vaio with a Chipset 4000 family series ran the one particular game i'm trying to play and it did it better. That laptop is a $250 laptop.

When i'm in some games I glitch/lag every few seconds. This one game in particular is Path of Exile. I played this on the above mentioned laptop.

Things that I have tried:

Drivers are up to date.

I fixed my computers "Power limit throttling" issue already.

I tried the games with parked and unparked cores.

I'm at my wits end on this. The computer is literally 4 days old brand new. I need some help with this one. The only thing i've narrowed it down to is the graphics card on this computer is not getting enough power.

The stats as shown above are more than enough to run most new age games at mid to low graphics settings. And I have tried the particular games on bare low everything. Nothing seems to help.

Omegix: Thank you very much for contacting the Intel® Graphics communities. We are sorry to hear the game is not working properly.

In order to try to fix this problem, we recommend to install the graphics drivers provided by Lenovo, since those drivers were customized by them to work with your specific platform.

For us to look for them, what is the model of your computer?

Did the game work fine before?

Even though you mentioned the drivers are up to date, since the unit works with Intel® HD Graphics 620, we can always test driver 4901:

Not sure which best game settings you tried, just in case here is the link were you can verify them:

Any further questions, please let me know.

The computer is a Lenovo 320 ideapad i5 7200U. It's brand new, I forgot if I stated or not in that post I made but a Sony vaio from 2011 ran this particular game, (Path of Exile) just fine with a chipset 4000. Which this computer is quadruple what that computer ever thought about being in the graphics driver dept and the processor. Also, I have the latest drivers for my computer.

I actually have the graphics set to lower than what's recommended for that game.

I have driver version 23.20.16.4901

Isn't that not the most updated one?

The installation date is 12/18/2017

Here is a screenshot of my computer. The link you provided goes to a 15ISK. I have a 17IKBhttps://gyazo.com/4e12b3953ded2ae1db2ad6d8659ce212 Gyazo - 4e12b3953ded2ae1db2ad6d8659ce212.png

Omegix: Thank you very much for providing those details.

In regard to your inquiry, yes, the driver 4901 is the latest one, but the Intel drivers are generic, meaning they might or might not work with your system. The drivers provided by Lenovo are the ones validated to work with platform, on the link below you will see that graphics version 22.20.16.4815 is the one available for your unit:

Omegix: Thank you very much for providing that information. We are sorry to hear the issue persists.

In this case, since the problem persists after installing the graphics driver provided by Lenovo, then the best thing to do at this point will be to get in contact directly with them for further technical or warranty assistance on this scenario:
