Toshiba P855 keep dropping my Wireless

I am using windows 8.1 and have had my laptop for almost 9 months. I have always had an issue with it dropping my wireless signal. I have replaced my modem twice and still have an issue. I went on the Intel drivers to reinstall and all it has is an 32 bit installation and I am running a 64 bit system. I have a i5 3230M

You may update the router's firmware and check if the wireless security settings match in both devices in case one of them is using mixed encryption types (TKIP+AES) and the other one does not.

It is also important to bear in mind that most of the interference comes from other devices operating in the 2.4 GHz; such as cordless phones and microwaves. Therefore, the location of the router and the computer may cause an impact on the performance. Try using the least crowded channel and provide the router a good location as antennas usually radiate in a donut shaped pattern.
