Hi all,
I'm working on a project with Intel RealSense R200 camera & Joule board with Ubuntu 16.0.4 for person tracking purpose.
I'm trying to figure out how exactly I need to prepare my environment.
I read some guides about it but unfortunately after installing libs, repo's and required packages I was out of disk space and had to format it.
I understand that I need the following components (with they dependencies!):
1) librealsense
2) RealSense SDK fro Linux
For the second (RealSense SDK for Linux) I found 2 references from Intel:
1) https://software.intel.com/sites/products/realsense/sdk/getting_started.html# Installing_the_SDK Intel® RealSense™ SDK for Linux: Getting Started
2) https://software.intel.com/sites/products/realsense/intro/getting_started.html Introduction to Intel® RealSense™ SDK for Linux: Getting Started
The instructions are different between them!!
Note: I followed the first one, and installed openCV 3.1 which took very large space capacity and eventually when I tried to install the tutorials and person_tracking libs I ran out of space!!
Please advice which of the following instructions I need to follow to get it all set and running...

Librealsense's official installation instructions aren't exactly child's play but are at least clearer than some explanations I've seen!

My instinct though is that you should focus on the instructions that are specifically for Joule - the second link that you provided, since they include commands for installing Librealsense.

I do not need any more assistance.
After consulting with some of my colleagues I realize that the first link was for ZR300 camera, and I have R200 type.
The second link was the one that I needed for my work.
Du note that it was unclear and hard to find the correct instructions for the environment preparations for my work.

Yaniv
