Intel Graphics HD 4000 has no output via HDMI

I've searched the forum and have tried quite a few of the recommended fixes but still having issue.

I have an HP Envy dv6 notebook (serial number 2CE2422WC2/ product number C2L47UA# ABA) running Windows 8.1. For over 2 years until this past weekend I was using my Sharp TV as a monitor via HDMI. It will display during a portion of the boot-up sequence but disables as windows starts. I did not do any updates or install any new software so to me this is a phantom issue.

Thank you very much for joining the Intel® graphics communities. Thank you very much for providing that information, we really appreciate that. Since this same configuration was working for 2 years and all of sudden is not working, what we recommend first is make sure that all the components are properly connected and if it is possible to try to reset them. Did you try to disconnect the TV from the outlet for about 5 minutes and then test it with the notebook again? Did you try to disconnect the HDMI cable from the notebook and TV and then reconnect it? Most of the TVs have more than one HDMI port, so did you try to connect the HDMI to a different HDMI port on the TV? Do you have the option to use a different HDMI cable?
