Intel Core i7 6700K 4.00 GHz Unlocked Quad Core Skylake Desktop Processor

I purchased the following processor on April 11, 2017 from Amazon:

Intel Core i7 6700K 4.00 GHz Unlocked Quad Core Skylake Desktop Processor, Socket LGA 1151 [BX80662I76700K]

After more than 6 months of working alright, my machine started rebooting continuously. After trying a number of things, including changing the motherboard, memory cards and hard disk, and removing the graphics card, I have been able to isolate the errors to the processor. The errors thrown up by the machine are in the attached image.

Can someone help? On another note, I suppose I could get a replacement from Intel under warranty. Is that right?

How about some information, like:

Motherboard make and model, and bios level?

Operating system?

Any graphics adapter?

Overclocking?

Your anti-virus product?

Then, the intel support staff can assist.

Hi Al,

Initially when the error appeared on the machine with old motherboard, the machine had EVGA GeForce GTX 750 Ti FTW DVI-I/HDMI/Display Port GDDR5 Graphics Card with ACX Cooling 02G-P4-3757-KR graphic adapter. At that time the Machine had McAfee antivirus installed. The machine was overclocking

To isolate the problem, I installed the processor on a new motherboard (motherboard is MSI Gaming Intel Skylake H170 LGA 1151 DDR4 USB 3.1 ATX Motherboard (H170 Gaming M3) ). The new set up has:

1. 32 GB RAM

2. Hard-disk (Seagate 2TB FireCuda 3.5-Inch SATA 6Gb/s 7200-RPM 64 Cache Gaming SSHD (Solid State Hybrid Drive) (ST2000DX002) )

3. BIOS version is E798IMS.C80, Build Date: 10/18/2016

The processor is being cooled by Corsair Hydro Series, H100i v2, 240mm Radiator, Dual 120mm PWM fans, Advanced RGB Lighting and Fan control with software, Liquid CPU Cooler.

Using an installation flash drive, I am trying to install CentOS 7.0 on the machine. But the machine keeps rebooting continuously with the errors in the screen-shot that I attached with my first message.

Thanks

Ravi
