Is there any development kit specific for the SR300?

Hey guys, i am now trying to integrate the SR300 to a bigger system fullfilled with sensors, ideally i would use the euclid but I can not use this sensor with the blindspot of 0.6m.

So I am stuck with the SR300 and I am looking for alternatives to do the project as modular as possible, which brings us the following three options:

1. R200 Development Kit: It would be great, but I am not sure if it is sold always with the R200, Is it possible to buy it alone or with the SR300?
2. Intel NUC: Is the best of the cases but as always too much money.
3. Joule: Meh, is good but it does not fulfill my requirements
4. Rock64: It is a good option as a SBC (single board computer) that comes with a USB 3.0 but it has some problems with its core

Do you guy know any other option, I am especially interested in the 1st option that is more about a market quest.

When you say R200 Development Kit, do you mean the Robotic Development Kit (the bundle deal of a USB R200 camera and the single-board Up Board)? You could buy the original Up Board separately from Up's own website. It is not compatible with the SR300 though because the board has an Intel Atom Cherry Trail processor, which R200 supports but SR300 does not.

Another option would be to combine the Intel Aero Vision Accessory Kit (a caseless R200 module and 2 video cameras) with the Intel Aero single-board computer, which is designed to use the Yocto type of Linux OS but can have programs developed on a full Ubuntu Linux PC transferred to it. They are intended for use with drones but may be adaptable to your project. You can also purchase a pre-made enclosure for the camera and board.

I had no idea that the Robotic Development Kit R200 was not compatible with the SR300. That makes things harder for me.

I had some experience with the R200 and I know for sure that is not suitable for my project, tuhs I am trying to avoid it.

Nevertheless the http://www.up-board.org/up/ http://www.up-board.org/up/ idea is likely to work with my system.

The new 400 Series cameras can use any Intel or ARM processor, unlike their predecessor cameras. The only requirement is a USB 3.0 connection. They also have a wider field of view (FOV). A promotional site for them states that they will be available in caseless Depth Modules. Because of high demand on orders, the 400 Series cameras will not be available again til March (Intel's most recent estimate) though if you pre-order now.
