If the processor does not have vpro, then it does not have vpro.

Provide your processor model number.

You will have to wait for one of the Intel support engineers to assist you.

Hi,

vPro Plattform needs vPro components to be enabled, vPro capable processor, Intel network card and vPro Chipset including Management Engine.

The vPro Plattform MUST BE ENABLED FROM MANUFACTURE, once it's out from production and no Intel vPro label is on the equipment, this device CAN´T BE TURNED INTO a vPro computer.

Regarding your other question, if "non vpro proc works well with vpro networking."

I´d need more detail on your question please.

Hi Sir,

good day!

Can the Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 8265 802.11a/b/g/n/ac (2x2) Wi-Fi® and Bluetooth® 4.2 Combo, vProTM16 card work with Intel® CoreTM i7-8550U with Intel® UHD graphics 620 (1.8 GHz base frequency, up to 4 GHz with Intel® Turbo Boost Technology, 8 MB cache, 4 cores), in terms of VPro technology?

To simplify: can the Intel 8265 Vpro network card use the Vpro technology if the i7-8550U is non-vpro processor?

thanks,

mikel

Hi Mikel,

"Can the Intel 8265 Vpro network card use the Vpro technology if the i7-8550U is non-vpro processor?"

The answer to that would be no.

Can you tell me more about what you´re trying to do? Maybe there is a work around that...

Hi Sir,

It's more of a network issue of the Intel 8265 Vpro and i7-8550U non-vpro processor. For now, this resolves my inquiry re: the non vpro proc.

Thanks for the usual support.

Regards,

Mikel
