Hello,
I have a DELL computer with Intel(R) HD Graphics 530.
And i develop a 3D application which use opengl. This applications works on other computer but crash on computer with integrated Graphics like HD530.
glGenBuffer() =>
WindowsError: exception: access violation writing 0xFFFFFFFFC7013EA0
--- OPENGL INFOS --- Vendor: Intel Renderer: Intel(R) HD Graphics 530 OpenGL Version: 4.4.0 - Build 21.20.16.4821 Shader Version: 4.40 - Build 21.20.16.4821I tried to upgrade my hd drivers with the last, but i keep the same error and i still in OpenGL 4.4.0. Is it possible to pass at OpenGl 4.5.0 with this hardware?
best regards

Thank you very much for taking the time to reach the Intel Communities Team, Jeyrozus. I will do my best to assist you further.
Firstly, allow me to share with you that the maximum OpenGL* supported version will be defined by the processor. You can double check that if you go to https://ark.intel.com/ ark.intel.com and search for your processor model. The hardware will not allow you to update to a higher OpenGL* version than the one listed on the specifications of the processor.
Then, you can reach our https://software.intel.com/en-us/home Intel® Developer Zone team so they can help to develop your 3D application.

Hi,
I followed your adived and my processor is : https://ark.intel.com/fr/products/88196/Intel-Core-i7-6700-Processor-8M-Cache-up-to-4_00-GHz Caractéristiques du produit Intel® Core™ i7-6700 Processor (8M Cache, up to 4.00 GHz)
So in theory i can go to opengl 4.5 but i dont know how , because when i download the last drivers in DELLwebsite he installed the 4.4 version. If i download the drivers via INTEL platform he says that is not compatible with my configuration... so i'am a little confused in how to upgrade to the opengl 4.5
