RealSense D400 series compatibility with Windows Hello

Hello, can anyone confirm whether the D400 series should work with Windows Hello or not? My D435 shows Depth and RGB devices in the Imaging devices section of Device manager, but I have no devices showing in USB Devices. I also have no options to configure Windows Hello and I'm not certain whether it's related the missing device in Device Manager or if Windows Hello is just not going to work with the D435.

I found these discussions that lead me to believe it won't work - does anyone have it working?

As far as I know, the position remains that Windows Hello support will not be developed for the 400 Series cameras. This is reiterated by a documentation page that states "Only Intel RealSense Cameras SR300 and F200 support Windows Hello". I was not able to find any evidence of someone having been able to use Windows Hello with a D415 or D435.
