RGB Intrinsics not changing after calibration

We are performing repeated calibration of a Real Sense D415 to check how camera intrinsics vary. Using a target and the supplied Calibration Tools, we found some variation in the Depth intrinsics parameters, but none in RGB. It seems that despite following the Calibration software's dedicated RGB calibration step, no change is made to the factory intrinsics.

Is this to be expected? How come?

Thanks!

Hi mso-michael,

The calibration software is reporting the intrinsics for the 1280 x 800 resolution for the Y16 (unrectified)

format.

The left and right infrared images are rectified by default:

https://github.com/IntelRealSense/librealsense/wiki/Projection-in-RealSense-SDK-2.0# d400-series.

Regards,

Alexandra
