Core i7 4790k processor shuts down on stress test

Hello Intel ​I bought a new chip i7 4790k a month ago T shirts the system down even on BIOS then went to a computer shop to test it oN another She the examiner ran a stress test on it Ñ suddenly turned the system off.

I've not yet tried to turn off the turbo boost op​tion from bios.I want to know that Is There a possibility that my chip is Faulty?

Anything is possible. However, make sure you have properly installed the cooling system/fan, and that you have adequate ventilation.

 

And, the processor is capable of so much more than running stress tests.
