Question about compatibility between I7-4940mx and 16GB Ram

Hello, 

I have a question about compatibility between I7-4940mx and 16GB Ram from Crucial. 

CT2KIT204864BF160B

I know this Processor supports 32GB Ram (4X8GB) but what about 32GB (2X16GB). Anyone has any information about this issue.

What about the compatibility between the architecture of the RAM and the Processor as ex i have lenovo Y50-70 motherboard supports 32GB (2X16GB) but the processor i7-4700HQ does not support them.

Al is correct; it is the MRC code in the BIOS that determines whether it is supported​. You need to ask the vendor what their BIOS has support for.
