Hello,
Movidius NC SDK is intended to work on x86_64 machine running Ubuntu 16.04.
Should be noted also that using Neural Compute Stick on virtual machines is not recommended for at least two reasons:
- USB connection under VM most probably will cause problems.
- Running performance will be lowered significantly.

- A port to CentOS 7 most likely won't be difficult as long as your GPU is supported by the GPU vendor. But it _is_ an effort and somebody needs to pay the people doing the port.
- As long as you have two ways to connect to your monitor, there are ways to access the GPU inside a QEMU/KVM virtual machine. Again, effort and payment for the effort.
- USB access inside the VM shouldn't be an issue on QEMU/KVM systems. VirtualBox is another story; there's a licensing issue for some folks.
Bottom line: it can be done but it will cost you.
