Questions about NCS

Hi All,

 

I have a few questions regarding how the NCS's are being shipped and delivered. Will the current run of sticks be sent with the previous gen Myriad chip or the newer Myriad X?

 

Also the announcement addressed that there was a shipment going out roughly now that should shore up orders yet I'm being told from my distributor that my order from July would not be allotted until February. So are there further production shortfalls?

Hi Pawel,

 

NCS is based on Movidius Myriad 2 chip not Myriad X.

 

We have had an overwhelming support from developers with NCS and as a matter of fact, we were sold out the first week after launch.

 

Distributors are now receiving our new production batch so we expect them to start shipping out to developers again this week. There are no further production shortfall and I would recommend you to check again with your distributor about the February delivery date which seems incorrect.
