I read that adding additional NCS's to your system will increase performance is there any data supporting this on raspberry pi 3? Is anyone actually doing it?

You need hub or extension cables because you can only physically plug one NSC into the RPi.

No data, but I do have https://github.com/movidius/ncappzoo/tree/master/apps/MultiStick_GoogLeNet running on the RPi using 2 NCS sticks.

It does stutter a bit when running.

hmm.. I integrated my compute stick into a donkeycar ( http://www.donkeycar.com/) last night. Getting about 130 ms per classification on one stick.

Thought it is a pretty small image.. but its resized to the default anyway.. so..

There is another topic concerning hub usage with more detailed explanation https://ncsforum.movidius.com/discussion/comment/259

Note that even many sticks are attached they run only one at a time. The advantage in this case is that the sticks are not running at a full load but are sharing their computational power which means less heat on each. Consumed total power will be roughly the same.
