Right resistor setup for +4.0v output EM2120

Hi, I am going to use EM2120H01QI Intel power solution product for powering custom FPGA based design. Target output voltage is +4.0v, maximum output current is 16A. The +4v is not standard output voltage, and there is no directions in datasheet which values I have to use for output violtage setup resistor network. Whould You give me resistor values for RVSET, R1DIV and R2DIV resistors for output voltage +4.0v ?

Regards, Jury

Hi Jury,

No need to scale Read_IOUT.

Only READ_VOUT value needs to be multiplied by 2.

Mostafa

Hello Jury,

To generate 4V from EM2120H01QI device you will need to have:

RVSET=5.36kΩ

R1DIV=2KΩ

R2DIV=665Ω

But please note that you will need to scale the Vout reading value through the PMBUS by 2, you can ignore that if you are not using PMBUS to read Vout value.

Mostafa, thanx for yoyr reply, one more question : do I need to scale value for READ_IOUT command or not?

Regards,

Jury.
