Hi Folks,

I have issue with X557-AT adapters. It doesn't negotiate 10Gbe speed with a L2 switches. I've tested Cisco/Dell/Ubiquiti.

I check both case setting to auto and setting manually speed and duplex.

When driver is loaded if you bounce a port, it negotiate a link to 1Gbe link instead of 10Gbe.

I'm using 1.4.1 firmware.

Firmware version 0x800005ad.

Where I can get latest firmware and re flash adapter ?

The driver is latest driver for ESXi 6.7 Update 2. I cross check older driver / different version of ESXi. It same issue.

Kind Regards,

Thank you for contacting Intel Embedded Community.

Could you please tell us if the adapters related to this situation has been developed by you or by a third-party company? Please give the part number, model, name of the manufacturer, and all the details if it is a third-party design. On the other hand, could you please let us know the sources that you have used to develop it? Could you please clarify if your design has been verified by Intel?

We are waiting for your answer.

Hi, @Mæcenas_INTEL

It Supermicro motherboard X10SDV-TLN4F

https://www.supermicro.com/en/products/motherboard/X10SDV-TLN4F.

It has on board two 10Gbe adapter.

I believe it has some issue with auto-sensing 10Gbe link speed. There are number of reports

on internet, as far I understood Intel has a firmware that fix that issue.
