netwtw08 spamming Windows Events with 7025 - Dump after return from D3 before cmd and 7026 - Dump after return from D3 after cmd on Windows 10 during Modern Standby

On devices that go into modern standby on Windows 10, the Intel wireless driver is spamming Windows Events every 6 minutes with the following:

7025 - Dump after return from D3 before cmd

7026 - Dump after return from D3 after cmd

This is a brand new Windows installation on a brand new device so no 3rd party application is causing this.

What is "return from D3" and what is the "cmd" this Event is referring to?

User15765959054787391165, Thank you for posting in the Intel® Communities Support.

In reference to your question about what is "return from D3" and "cmd", we will do further on these two topics in order to provide the most accurate assistance on this matter.

For us to be able to do that, we just wanted to confirm a few details about your system:

What is the model of the Intel® Wireless card?

What is the model of the motherboard?

If this is a laptop, what is the model of it?

Is this a new computer?

Was it working fine before?

Did you make any recent hardware/software changes?

The wireless card, did you purchased it separately or did it came installed in the computer?

When did the issue start?

Did you check with your Internet service provider to make sure the Internet is working properly?

Does the problem happen at home or work environment?

Hi User15765959054787391165, Thank you very much for letting us know those details.

Just to confirm, when is that you get that error message, could you please provide a description or the steps done previously to see that error message?

By any chance, could you provide a screenshot of when you get the error message?

If you connect other devices to the same router, is the behavior the same, is that error message still showing up?

If you enter "Device Manager" under "Properties" of the Intel® Wireless card and change the mode from "ax" to "ac", do you still get the message? In the following link you will see the steps to change the Wireless mode, look for "802.11n/ac/ax Wireless Mode or HT Mode"

Any questions, please let me know.

Hello User15765959054787391165,

We have not heard back from you, so at this point and based on the initial information you provided, we recommend you to contact Microsoft® support to check this further since it could be related to a hardware issue considering the problem started from the first day on this brand new Microsoft® Surface Pro 7.

We will close this inquiry. If you need further assistance, please post a new question.
