Intel driver and support assistant can't detect my settings!

Hi!

I have an Acer Aspire 5733 thats running an Intel HD Graphics (core i3) chip. I'm trying to update my driver so I can play KOTOR 2 but the support assistant can't scan my PC.

I'm using Windows 7 64-bit OS. My current driver is version is 8.15.10.2993. Are there anything better up to date?

I've tried reinstalling the Support Assistant but it did not help. Also I'm using the latest Firefox browser since I can't run Chrome due to a problem with the Visual Basic C++ driver. Maybe that's the problem?

Anyway best regards from Sweden!

I may be wrong, but I do not think that the tool actually has support for processors this old. Presuming I am wrong, let's continue...

There is a uninstall cleanup tool you could try. Download it from here: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/29112/Intel-Driver-Support-Assistant-Uninstaller. Run it and then do a fresh install of the IDSA tool.

Hope this helps,
