Boost FPS on Raspberry Pi

I'm running the crossroads camera demo on a rpi3. I'm only getting about 2.5 fps. I don't need much resolution as it will display on a 4 inch monitor. Is there a way to reduce the image size to increase fps? Or is there something else I can do?

Hi JVond,

Thanks for reaching out.

The frames per second (fps) you are getting depend on multiple variables: the sample demo, model, and resolution that you are using. You can also try to use multiple Intel® NCS2 to run the inference requests in parallel, see the documentation here.
