USB 3 Yellow Port and Hard Drive use, NUC5i5RYK

Will using the USB 3 charging port reduce Hard Dick lifetime by having it always on? I have a USB 3 4 TB WD Easystore Hooked to a NUC5i5RYK.

No, if shouldn't. Hard Drives have their lifetime spec'ed presuming alway on.
