For example, if the input data width is 16 bits, should the data be in 16 bits of fixed-point format? How many bits are allocated for the integer part and how many for the fractional part? Are either the integer part or the fractional part signed?

Hi,

Use the Unified FFT IP. For data width go through the 1.4. Supported Data Types (intel.com)

Thank you,
