Default Extended Monitor

My first discussion on the Intel forum

We have around 400 Dell Optiplex 390.For certain configurations I'm using the VGA and the HDMI output. I'm trying to configure with extended Desktop.

My problem is that the first time someone logon to the PC the screen is in clone mode (the two monitors are exactly the same screen). The can then modify the config and store in their profile.

What I could like to do is to have the extended desktop as the default configuration for the PC. I've tried looking for info on the web but without any luck. Dell aren't much help either.

Hello,

Our generic drivers keep the Multi-monitor configuration that has been previously used through the Intel(R) Graphics and Media control panel, either on clone or extended mode.

You can try updating the system BIOS on your system and try using the latest generic driver that we provide.

You may find the latest driver available for your system using the Intel® Driver Update Utility available on the following site:
