problem with resolution

i have desk top of configuration with i5 2320 and intel chipset DH 67CL,as soon as the grahics driver updated to intel graphics i recieve no video signal in the monitor Samsung A300N series , now i' m not able to increse my resolution.kindly solve my problem

is buying a graphics card is neceesary ,if yes yes which one any idea

That's no more than an idea, but did you check the monitor type settings (IGD Primary Video Port and IGD Secondary Video Port) in the BIOS ?

If you are using the DVI-I connector the setting must match the monitor type Analog or Digital.

I suspect that the standard MS VGA video driver does not take this setting in account but the Intel one does.
