Hi,

I just had this ticket routed to me today, can you share me your Quartus software version and your host PC environment?

Also, have you run any design using the previous Nios II? Are you familiar with the Nios II SBT eclipse tools?

Hi,

You may create your own hardware design for your board DE1-SoC, you may follow the steps here:

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/docs/programmable/726952/23-4/processor-application-executes-in-place-31167.html

As your board need the Quartus Standard version, you may refer here when doing the BSP package:

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/docs/programmable/778829/current/generating-the-bsp-in-standard-edition.html

Once you able to boot the Nios V and observe the hello world output, you may go further and check out the LED design from Nios II previously and edit your design accordingly to set the LED etc, for e.g this design:

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/programmable/support-resources/design-examples/horizontal/exm-hardware-tutorial.html
