Hi,
I've just installed Quartus 10.0sp1 on my laptop, which is running Windows 7 Home Premium, 64-bit edition. Quartus itself seems to have installed fine, but the USB Blaster drivers aren't quite as forthcoming. I've selected the USB Blaster drivers, acknowledged the "waah, drivers are unsigned" prompt, and Windows has installed them. Afterwards, the USB Blaster is displayed in Device Manager with a yellow exclamation-mark, and the following notice is shown in the Device Properties window: This device cannot start (Code 10). Does anyone know if it's possible to run Quartus 10 on the 64-bit version of Windows 7 *and* have the USB Blaster work? Thanks, Phil. *EDIT*: Fixed it. The FT245 chip was fried (data outputs stuck high). Replaced it, now the Blaster works fine. Signaltap won't work on Linux though :(Link Copied
