PC for 12 Realsense Devices

Currently, I am able to connect 3 HW sync realsense, D410, using hub, with maximum resolution.

However, I am planning to use up to 12 x sensors.

Is this feasible to use only 1 single computer, with 4 x USB 3 hub, each hub connect 3 sensors? Can the CPU handle it?

Thanks.

The USB standard allows USB hubs to be stacked up to '5 deep' (no more than 5 hubs between the computer and USB device), so it should be okay to have four hubs 'daisy chained' together.

For computers that have up to 4 cameras connected simultaneously, a powerful PC with an Intel i7 processor is recommended. If you wanted to connect 12 cameras simultaneously then you should consider a much more powerful PC, such as a PC with a 9th Generation processor (assuming you cannot wait for the newest 10th Generation PCs to be released).

You could reduce the strain on the computer if you turn the 12 cameras on and off in batches of 4 (turn 4 off, turn the next 4 on until you get back to the first camera and repeat the cycle again).
