When I use the byteblasterII to download my software in the NiosII_ide->Run,it appear
nios2-terminal: Warning: The JTAG cable you are using is not supported for Nios nios2-terminal: II systems. You may experience intermittent JTAG communication nios2-terminal: failures with this cable. Please use a USB Blaster revision B nios2-terminal: cable or another supported cable. Please refer to the file nios2-terminal: errata.txt included in the Nios II development kit documents nios2-terminal: directory for more information. must I use the usb blaster? Thanks!Link Copied

YEP.
To use JTAG you must use the USB blaster rev B. There are some problems when you are using the rev A. If you are using a custom board, pay a real attention on the JTAG connection : pullups, wire size. To make my JTAG working I had to change pullups from 10KR to 1KR and add a 32R serial on the JTAG clock.- Mark as New

Can I use the byteblasterII?Someone told me that I could use byteblasterII

I use the ByteBlaster II (LPT) and it seems to work fine most of the time (download, debug...). For more information you really should read the errata.txt.
