Have a 3 year old HP with a Pentium E2200 2.2Ghz processor, Intel G33 chipset in a 775 socket, can I upgrade it to a Intel Pentium Dual-Core E6500 2.93GHz, Intel G43 chipset, also in a 775 socket.
per HP documentation, the motherboard will handle either 800/ 1066 or 1333 Mhz FSB. So I thought I would upgrade to a 1066. Curretnly unable to find this motherboard a ASUS IPIBL-LB on ASUSs web page for compatibility. But thanks for your info. low412
