Hi
I am DEFINITELY confused. Does the new Dual Core E5500 support Virtualization Technology or NOT?
Here: http://processorfinder.intel.com/details.aspx?sSpec=SLGTJ says it does not haveVT
Here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Intel_Pentium_Dual-Core_microprocessors
saysthat some versions do and some dont
Here: http://ark.intel.com/Product.aspx?id=42800&processor=E5500&spec-codes=SLGTJ
says it does
Some time ago, i bought a E5300 which did NOT support VT and I'd like not to fall in the
same trap and getting a E5500 version with not VT.
Which versions support VT and which ones don't, in order to get the right version?
Thanx

Hi, i tend to believe ark a lot more thahn spec finder. Also http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/Pentium_Dual-Core/Intel-Pentium%20Dual-Core%20E5500%20AT80571PG0722ML%20%28BX80571E5500%20-%20BXC80571E5500%29.html CPUworld is a good place to check info. And also as far as i am aware intel dont make CPUs without VT anymore. They used to, but after similar issues to this or same cpus diff SLs causing confusion they now just put vt in all.
