My new I5-660 cpu is overheating. I have reset the CPU and updated the BIOS as well as all the drivers on mu Intel Dh55tc motherboard. This is a brand new cpu and motherboard I bought from intel 2 weeks ago. Can someone offer me some help? I have tried new thermal grease etc..

Upto 210 F then very slowly it will get down to 63 C. In the BIOS 104C. Its in a raid max case with 450watt power supply and 120mm cooling fan in the back of the case. After about 2 hour it cools down. Today it worked perfect. This tends to happen on power up then after awhile cools down.

The problem has to do with the external SATA port on the motherboard and the harddrive getting hot. Don't ask me how. But everytime I hoook up my HD to the eSATA port it happens.
