Should every new boxed processor come with a manual?

I just received a "New" 4790k processor. It came in the retail box, but the factory seal looks a little frayed, like it may have been carefully opened and closed again. The writing on the heat shield is also facing the front of the box (see pic), and in pictures I've seen, it faces the side of the box. There is also no manual inside, just the processor and heatsink. There is a small amount of scuffing on the heat shield. I'm just wondering if this is really a new processor or not. Thank you for your help!

Hi telperionflower,

Our new retail processors come with the manual installation and warranty brochure. The processor markings faced the front or side of the box.

If your retail box processor is suspicious, I suggest you replace it with your place of purchase or contact our support team provides with the proof of purchase and we will proceed with the warranty

Regards,
