If looking to determine why the processor usage is at 100% at all times, we recommend you making sure your system has the latest BIOS version loaded for a proper processor recognition. Also, you may want to run the Intel® Processor Identification Utility to determine if the processor is being properly recognized; you can find this utility download at: http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/highlights/processors/toolspiu http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/highlights/processors/toolspiu
If the processor is being properly recognized, proceed testing its functionality by running the Intel® Processor Diagnostic Tool: http://www.intel.com/support/processors/sb/CS-031726.htm http://www.intel.com/support/processors/sb/CS-031726.htm
The processor usage is dependent of the software optimization and background services which requires processor resources.
