hello,

i need help with two issues regarding signal taps.

1.

i would like to copy a signal tap file instead of creating one from scratch. I tried to open it in text file and copy the parts I am interested in but that did not work.

please can you tell me how to copy a signal tap file. there is no "copy" option in either signal tap tool.

2.

option to "group" signals randomly becomes unavailable. please let me know how can i fix this?

thank you.

1) Why don't you just duplicate the file and then edit it?  What's your goal?

2) More details needed.  When does it work and when is it grayed out?

1) i want to copy signals between two instances within same signal tap file. i also want to copy "dividers", instead of right click and slect each time.

2) this happens randomly. it will be work fine for few times and then option becomes greyed out. there is no pattern. it is random.

1) No way to do either of these that I know of.

2) You'll have to be more specific as to what you are selecting and trying to group.  Screenshots would help.
