Hi, I bought the exact same nvme ssd storage device (wd black sn770 2Tb) to replace a faulty storage device, for a HP 17-cn0843nd laptop, but whatever I try and do, the device does not show up when installing Windows 11, or 10 for that matter. I tried MBR, GPT, formatting or leaving the device unallocated, it just does not show up when installing. It is visible in the BIOS and all settings are AHCI. Do you or anybody else have an answer?

Hi marcmulder70,
Thank you for posting in the community. Could you clarify whether you are reporting an issue with RST or if your NVMe drive is not being recognized by your laptop? If the issue is with the NVMe drive not being detected, I recommend posting in the HP community or contacting HP support for further assistance.
Best regards,
