*Edit: I'll be removing this post shortly since the 14.0 SDK and RTE have been released. OpenCL updates should arrive with the Quartus updates so I recommend keeping an eye out for those. Altera OpenCL SDK 13.1 update 3 has been posted on the download center: http://dl.altera.com (click on the updates tab). You can find the release notes here: http://www.altera.com/literature/rn/rn_qts_dev_support_update.pdf
I will try to keep this post up to date with the latest patch information so you might want to subscribe to this post.Link Copied

Edit: NVM, can be deleted.
Edit 2: It could be great to put the link to the release notes (http://www.altera.com/literature/rn/rn_qts_dev_support_update.pdf) directly in the forum post. I didn't see them at first.- Mark as New

The updates may progress beyond the current version mentioned so it is better to check that Updates tab to check for newer versions. Here is a screenshot of what this should look like:

I first installed Quartus 13.1.0.162 together with OpenCL SDK. Then, I updated my Quartus and OpenCL SDK to version 13.1.3.178. When I ran "aocl", I got these messages:
aocl: Unable to determine the execution environment of the Altera SDK for OpenCL.
aocl: Detailed error: Could not find the Perl command inside Quartus
Does anyone have the similar problem? Edit: I'm using Ubuntu 12.04. edit 2: solved. requires to set environment variable quartus_rootdir_override="${altera_install_path}/quartus"

Are there any release notes for version 14? They are not listed here (http://www.altera.com/literature/lit-opencl-sdk.jsp), whereas some other documents have been added.

*edit* Actually it looks like the release notes are live: http://www.altera.com/literature/rn/rn_aocl.pdf I'm not sure what's up with the website but it's listing the 14.0 release notes as 13.1

Maybe I am just looking in the wrong place? Thanks.

Up near the top of that page in my original post is a version pulldown. If you select 13.1 in that box (it's 14.0 now since that's the latest version) then the update tab will appear.
